The Endress+Hauser Proline Promass F 500 is a high-performance remote Coriolis flowmeter designed for accurate measurement of liquids and gases under varying and demanding process conditions. It combines the proven Promass F sensor with a remotely installed transmitter, providing high measurement performance, flexible installation and extensive connectivity for modern process automation systems.
Promass F 500 uses the Coriolis measuring principle to directly measure mass flow while simultaneously providing additional process variables such as density, temperature, volume flow and concentration. This multivariable capability can reduce the number of separate measurement points required in a process installation.

Remote Transmitter Design
A key feature of the Promass F 500 is its remote transmitter configuration.
The sensor and transmitter are connected by a standard cable, allowing the transmitter to be installed separately from the measuring point. This provides greater flexibility when the sensor is installed in locations with limited access or when the operating interface needs to be positioned away from the process piping.
The transmitter supports up to four freely configurable I/Os, together with a wide range of fieldbus and Ethernet communication options.

Promass F 500 is available in nominal diameters from DN8 to DN250 (3/8 to 10"), making it suitable for both relatively small process lines and large-capacity flow measurement applications.
