The Endress+Hauser Proline Promass A 300 is a compact single-tube Coriolis flowmeter designed for accurate measurement of the lowest liquid and gas flow rates. Its space-saving sensor and easily accessible transmitter make it suitable for demanding continuous process applications where accurate low-flow measurement, compact installation and flexible system integration are important.

The Promass A 300 uses the Coriolis mass flow measurement principle, providing direct mass flow measurement together with density, temperature and volume flow information. Its compact design is particularly suitable for applications involving very small quantities and limited installation space.

Accurate Measurement at Very Low Flow Rates

Promass A 300 is specifically designed for applications involving the smallest flow quantities. The sensor is available in nominal diameters from DN1 to DN4 (1/24 to 1/8"), with a measuring range up to 450 kg/h.

This makes the flowmeter suitable for applications where conventional flowmeters may have difficulty maintaining reliable measurement at extremely low flow rates.

High-Accuracy Coriolis Measurement

The Promass A 300 provides accurate measurement of both liquids and gases. Maximum measurement errors include:

The Promass A 300 features a compact and lightweight single-tube sensor, helping minimize installation space.

Its self-drainable measuring tube is designed for reliable process operation across all available line sizes. The sensor is also resistant to corrosive ambient conditions and internal clogging, supporting reliable measurement in demanding industrial environments.

The wetted measuring tube is available in 1.4435 stainless steel (316/316L) and Alloy C22, depending on configuration.

High-Pressure Flow Measurement

Despite its small measuring size, Promass A 300 is designed for demanding pressure conditions.

The sensor supports process pressures up to 430.9 bar (6250 psi) and medium temperatures from -50 to +205 °C (-58 to +401 °F), depending on the selected configuration.

This combination makes Promass A 300 particularly useful for specialized process applications requiring very low flow measurement under high pressure.

Easily Accessible Proline 300 Transmitter

A major feature of Promass A 300 is its compact and easily accessible transmitter.

The transmitter uses a dual-compartment housing and provides access to process and diagnostic information through freely configurable I/O functions and fieldbus communication. It supports up to three I/Os, while the backlit display provides touch control and WLAN access. A remote display option is also available.

This configuration provides greater flexibility for commissioning, operation and integration into process control systems.
