The Endress+Hauser Proline Cubemass C 500 is a compact Coriolis flowmeter designed for accurate measurement of the smallest liquid and gas flow rates. It combines a space-saving single-tube sensor with a remote transmitter, providing greater installation flexibility for demanding process environments.

Cubemass C 500 is particularly suitable for skids, test rigs, industrial robotics and compact process equipment, where accurate low-flow measurement must be combined with limited installation space. The Coriolis measuring principle provides direct mass flow measurement and also enables measurement of density, temperature and volume flow.

Precise Small-Flow Measurement

Cubemass C 500 is optimized for measuring very small quantities of liquids and gases. The sensor is available in nominal diameters from DN1 to DN6 (1/24 to 1/4"), with a measuring range of 0 to 1,000 kg/h (0 to 37 lb/min).

The lightweight sensor is especially suitable for skid systems and equipment packages where weight and available installation space are important considerations. The wetted measuring tube is made from 904L stainless steel, with process connections available in 904L and 316/316L stainless steel depending on configuration.

High-Pressure Process Measurement

Despite its compact dimensions, Cubemass C 500 is designed for demanding process conditions.

The maximum process pressure reaches 400 bar (5800 psi), while the medium temperature range extends from -50 to +205 °C (-58 to +401 °F).

This combination of very low-flow measurement, high pressure and wide temperature capability makes Cubemass C 500 suitable for specialized industrial applications.

Remote Transmitter for Installation Flexibility

The defining feature of the Cubemass C 500 is its remote transmitter configuration.

The sensor and transmitter are connected using a standard cable, allowing the transmitter to be installed separately from the measuring point. This provides greater flexibility when the sensor is installed in a restricted location or a difficult-to-access process area.

The remote transmitter supports up to four I/Os, providing flexible access to process and diagnostic information.
