The Endress+Hauser FLOWSKID is a complete, modular gas flow metering system designed for demanding custody transfer and fiscal metering applications. Rather than being a single flowmeter, FLOWSKID combines the key measurement, analysis, calculation and control components required to create a complete gas metering station.
The system integrates FLOWSIC600-XT ultrasonic gas flowmeters, Flow-X flow computers, gas chromatographs, analyzers, pressure and temperature measurement technology, valves, piping, monitoring systems and station control equipment. This integrated approach allows the complete metering system to be engineered and supplied as a turnkey solution.

Integrated Ultrasonic Gas Flow Measurement
At the heart of the FLOWSKID system is the FLOWSIC600-XT ultrasonic gas flowmeter, which uses the ultrasonic transit-time difference measurement principle for accurate gas volume measurement.
The system can provide volume measurement, gas composition measurement, pressure measurement, temperature measurement, condition monitoring and flow calculation, allowing the complete measurement chain to be managed as an integrated system.
Flow-X Flow Computer Integration
FLOWSKID is designed for seamless integration with the Endress+Hauser Flow-X flow computer. The Flow-X processes measurement data from the flowmeter, pressure and temperature instruments and gas analysis equipment to perform the calculations required for fiscal gas metering.
This integrated architecture makes FLOWSKID suitable for applications where customers require a complete gas metering skid with flow calculation and data management, rather than purchasing and integrating individual instruments separately.
Gas Analysis and Chromatography
Depending on the application, FLOWSKID can include gas analyzers and gas chromatographs, allowing gas composition information to be incorporated into the metering system.
Gas composition data can be used together with pressure, temperature and flow measurement for accurate gas volume and energy calculations, which is particularly important in natural gas custody transfer applications.
Flexible Modular Design
One of the main advantages of FLOWSKID is its modular design. The system can be configured with different instrumentation, gas analyzers, gas chromatographs and supervisory computers according to the requirements of the metering project.
The system supports pressure classes from Class 150 to Class 2500 and nominal pipe sizes from 2 to 52 inches (DN50 to DN1400). The specified medium temperature range is -40 °C to +180 °C, depending on the selected configuration.
Complete Calibration and Quality Standards
FLOWSKID supports complete calibration of the metering system, helping ensure accurate measurement performance before commissioning.
