The Endress+Hauser FLOWSIC610 is an ultrasonic flowmeter designed specifically for custody transfer measurement of hydrogen gas. It provides accurate and reliable measurement for hydrogen transport, storage and distribution applications, including electrolyzer export pipelines and hydrogen compressor stations.

Based on the ultrasonic transit-time measurement principle, FLOWSIC610 measures actual volume, volumetric flow, gas velocity and speed of sound. An optional hydrogen purity indicator provides real-time hydrogen purity information based on the measured speed of sound.

The flowmeter is available for nominal pipe sizes from DN50 to DN400 (2" to 16") and provides fiscal accuracy Class 1 with a turndown ratio of up to 1:160. Its full-bore design avoids additional pressure drop, while the ultrasonic transducers provide reliable measurement under demanding hydrogen operating conditions.
