Stable ORP Measurement in Demanding Processes

The CPS62E is designed for applications where ORP measurement can be challenging because of changing process conditions, low conductivity or contamination of the reference system.

Endress+Hauser specifically positions it for processes with rapidly changing ORP values and media containing high levels of electrode poisons such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).

Contamination-Resistant Reference System

The sensor uses an advanced gel technology with a ceramic junction and ion trap. This design helps maintain a stable reference in demanding process media and provides improved resistance to contamination.

The ORP measuring element is made of platinum, while the sensor uses a glass shaft and a PPS glass-fiber-reinforced process coupling.

Memosens 2.0 Digital Technology

The CPS62E uses Memosens 2.0 digital technology. Calibration and process information can be stored directly in the sensor, allowing the sensor to be calibrated away from the process and then installed back into the measuring point.

This makes sensor replacement and routine maintenance easier while providing additional data for sensor management and predictive maintenance.

Suitable for Chemical and Hygienic Applications

The CPS62E is designed for both chemical processes and hygienic or sterile applications, including fermenters, biotechnology and life sciences.

Its temperature capability also allows it to handle demanding process and sterilization conditions.

Compact 12 mm Sensor Design

The CPS62E has a 12 mm diameter and is available with shaft lengths of 120, 225 and 360 mm. All shaft lengths include an integrated temperature sensor.
