Model Options
FCB130
The FCB130 is the standard version of the FCB100 series. It provides mass flow and volume flow measurement together with density and temperature measurement.
For liquids, ABB specifies mass and volume accuracy options of 0.4% or 0.25% of reading, with density accuracy of 10 g/l. The specified medium temperature range is -50 to 160 °C.
FCB150
The FCB150 provides the measurement capabilities of the FCB100 platform with additional software functions for more advanced process calculations.
Depending on application and configuration, FCB150 supports:
• High-accuracy concentration measurement
• Watercut calculation
• Net-oil calculation
• Net-mass measurement
• Net-volume measurement
• FillMass software for filling applications
• Integrated pre-counter and overfill/underfill correction functions
Measuring Range
The available nominal sizes and corresponding measuring ranges include:
Nominal SizeMeasuring RangeDN15 / 1/2 in.0–8,000 kg/hDN25 / 1 in.0–35,000 kg/hDN50 / 2 in.0–90,000 kg/hDN80 / 3 in.0–250,000 kg/hDN100 / 4 in.0–520,000 kg/hDN150 / 6 in.0–860,000 kg/h

Suitable Applications
Industrial Process Flow Measurement
Suitable for measuring liquid mass flow, density and temperature in general industrial process systems.
Dosing and Filling
The compact design and fast measurement response make the FCB100 suitable for dosing and filling applications. FCB150 provides additional filling-oriented functions through FillMass.
System Integration
RS485 Modbus communication and digital outputs make the FCB100 suitable for integration into automation systems and packaged equipment.
Oil and Fluid Measurement
FCB150 can provide watercut, net-oil, net-mass and net-volume calculations for suitable applications and configurations.
Food and Beverage Dosing
ABB documents the FCB100 for food and beverage dosing applications, with the specific meter and hygienic requirements needing to be considered when selecting the equipment.
Selection Notes
1. Choose FCB130 or FCB150 based on the required functions.
FCB130 is suitable when standard mass, volume, density and temperature measurement is required. FCB150 should be considered when concentration, watercut, net-oil or filling functions are required.
2. Select the meter size according to the actual process flow rate.
The FCB100 series covers DN15 to DN150 with different maximum measuring capacities. Do not select the nominal size based only on the existing pipe diameter.
3. Confirm the process medium before quotation.
Coriolis meter performance depends on the medium, flow conditions and selected configuration. For gases, liquids, multiphase fluids or special fluids, the application should be checked before selecting the exact model.
4. Confirm wetted materials.
ABB lists 316L and Hastelloy C wetted-material options. Material selection should be based on the actual process medium and corrosion conditions.
5. Confirm hazardous-area requirements.
ATEX and cFMus approvals are available for applicable configurations. The exact certification should be checked against the required installation area and selected device configuration.
