Product Overview

The Fluke 568 Ex Intrinsically Safe Infrared Thermometer is a rugged temperature measurement solution designed for use in hazardous industrial environments where intrinsically safe equipment is required. Certified for Class I Division 1 and 2 and Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas, it enables technicians to perform temperature inspections in petroleum, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other Ex-rated applications.

The Fluke 568 Ex combines non-contact infrared measurement with K-type thermocouple contact measurement, allowing technicians to select the appropriate method for different inspection conditions. Its infrared measurement range covers -40°C to 800°C, while the K-type input supports contact temperature measurements from -270°C to 1372°C. The 50:1 distance-to-spot ratio and 19 mm minimum spot size allow smaller targets to be measured from a greater distance.

Designed for practical field use, the Fluke 568 Ex features a simple three-button interface, adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, a built-in materials emissivity table, single-point laser sighting, and a two-level backlight. Users can set high and low temperature alarms, view Min/Max/Avg/Dif values, and store up to 99 measurement points for later review.
