The Fluke Calibration 9103/9140 Field Dry-Well series provides portable, fast, and stable temperature sources for calibration and verification of temperature measurement devices in industrial and laboratory environments. The dry-wells are designed for field use, allowing technicians to perform temperature calibration without transporting sensors or instruments back to a laboratory.

The series consists of two temperature ranges. The Fluke 9103 is a low-temperature field dry-well covering -25°C to 140°C, making it suitable for calibration applications requiring below-ambient temperatures. The Fluke 9140 is a mid-temperature dry-well covering 35°C to 350°C, providing a higher temperature range in a compact and lightweight format.

Both models are designed to improve calibration productivity through adjustable heating and cooling rates, interchangeable inserts, and thermal switch testing. Multiple insert configurations allow different probe diameters to be accommodated, including comparison inserts for calibrating multiple probes.

The 9103 provides stability down to ±0.02°C and display accuracy of ±0.25°C, while the 9140 provides stability up to ±0.05°C and display accuracy of ±0.5°C across its specified operating range. Both models use a 124 mm immersion depth and provide approximately 7 minutes of stabilization time under specified conditions.

For calibration documentation and process automation, both dry-wells include an RS-232 interface and support Fluke's Interface-it software. The software can provide set-point and ramp-rate control, real-time temperature logging, electronic strip charts, and automated thermal switch testing with data collection. Each unit is factory tested and supplied with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate.
